The CMOP arrived in Sardinia on September the 16th, 1989, in the charming sanctuary of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Punta Sebera, in the commune of Domus de Maria (CA). However, since June the 10th, 2000, the Community was relocated to Ussana (CA) where a house of spirituality and hospitality is settled in the heart of the town.

Many different types of encounters for prayer, formation, and catechism are held there, thanks also to the contribution of consecrated secular members, aggregated married couples and the Collaborators of the Queen of Peace.

Upcoming events in Ussana

From October 20, 2024

With the new social year, the "School of Peace" reopens, a monthly training course designed and managed by our long-standing Caterina Muggianu. This year's journey will focus on the Holy Land, the places where Mary lived with Jesus the mystery of her earthly existence.

HOLY MASS TIMETABLE

From Monday to Saturday at 6.15pm

Sunday in the autumn and winter months 17.15 - 18.45

Holy Mass is preceded by vespers at 5.45pm (Mon-Fri) 5.15pm (Saturday) 4.45pm (Sunday) and followed by the Rosary.

Every Thursday after Mass, guided Eucharistic Adoration.

On the fourth Sunday, after Mass, healing adoration.

How to get

Arrival by bus: take the bus from Cagliari to the station for Ussana.

Arrival by car: from Cagliari you have to take the 131 to Sassari and exit at the Monastir / Ussana exit and continue for 2 km to Ussana.

Arrival by plane: from Elmas airport, take the shuttle to Cagliari station or the train to arrive at Cagliari station and then take the bus to Ussana.

"Remembering that the Oasis of Peace lives in the heart of every consecrated person, we are called to live, always and in all circumstances, in the spirit and style of our life, and to be always and everywhere peacemakers in the world" (RdV 124).

Wherever a member of the CMOP lives or works, there the Community is. Aggregated spouses and consecrated seculars are an integral part of our Ecclesial Family and work, in their respective ecclesial realities, in communion with the local Bishop and the Holy Father. In this way we are present in other regions of Italy, Brazil and other countries scattered throughout the world.
