FORTALEZA'

The foundation of the second Brazilian house in Fortaleza dates back to 2012. In that year, with the official welcome of the bishop of Fortaleza, the Oasis became part of the CEU, a center of spirituality that houses more than twenty communities living in communion and collaboration, each with its own charism placed at the service of the people of God: a kind of faith village of Christian coexistence, productive in both evangelization and charity.

Here the CMOP embodies the charism of peace especially through the animation and administration of the CEU's central church dedicated to the Blessed Sacrament, the heart of the entire village and the center of Eucharistic adoration. There are also many hospitality and apostolate initiatives, especially for young people and married couples, carried out by the consecrated members together with the help of the secular members and spouses.

OASIS IN THE WORLD

"Remembering that the Oasis of Peace lives in the heart of every consecrated person, we are called to live, always and in all circumstances, in the spirit and style of our life, and to be always and everywhere peacemakers in the world" (RdV 124).

Wherever a member of the CMOP lives or works, there the Community is. Aggregated spouses and consecrated seculars are an integral part of our Ecclesial Family and work, in their respective ecclesial realities, in communion with the local Bishop and the Holy Father. In this way we are present in other regions of Italy, Brazil and other countries scattered throughout the world.
