The theme of the FestinGod was Jerusalem Emmaus round trip, and had the Gospel of the disciples of Emmaus as its leitmotiv.
On the first day in the morning there was the introductory catechesis followed by the prayer of the Rosary while walking. In the afternoon the boys were
protagonists of a dynamic in which they had to model clay blindfolded to represent themselves; this was followed by a very deep sharing which allowed us to experience inner freedom and a sense of communion. The second day was characterized by evening adoration in the chapel, a very intense moment of prayer in which the boys were invited to hand over to Jesus whatever hinders them in their journey of life, with the possibility also of going to confession, and they also received a Word from the Bible, a sign of God's love. On the third day some boys and girls from the Cenacle Community were present who told their life stories, very touching stories of meeting the Risen Jesus who enlightened their lives. In the afternoon, group games were held in a spirit of fraternal communion, joy and gratitude for the moments lived together. We thank God that even in this event he did not fail to show his fidelity and mercy.
