On 26 December 2022 our convent of Deliceto, Sanctuary of S.Maria della Consolazione, joyfully hosted the living nativity scene which takes place as usual every year in the village and which after 15 years has returned to take place in the picturesque, evocative and handsome context of the Consolation with the great, generous and heartfelt participation of the proloco and the various associations present in the area to enhance a common heritage of history, faith and culture and help support the community in the various renovation and maintenance works of the sanctuary.
The crib scenes are located around the building using the external rooms, the stables and following a path that leads to the grotto of Beato Felice where the scene of the Nativity has been hosted, the culmination of the itinerary also interspersed with rest points and food and wine restaurant.
The itinerary then continued inside where some brothers and sisters of the community accompanied the visitors to the most significant places of the convent: the niche of S.gerardo, the room of S.Alfonso and the visit to the evocative and realistic crucifix in the dedicated room .
The event saw the participation of more than 1,200 people from various parts of the province of Foggia who came to contemplate and joyfully participate in the mystery of Christmas!
