The leitmotif of this adventure of the young Germans was: "On the way to Peace"!
From July 27 to August 4, 2023, our Medjugorje community hosted for the third time, a youth bus from Germany! Before leaving, a priest from the group said: "A week of living together like this bears much more fruit than a year of catechesis in the parish!" Why?
It seems that being in the group under the gaze of the Gospa, guided by a certain precariousness of sleeping, eating... opens the heart to an easier encounter with the Lord.
Certainly there was no shortage of joyous walks and various meetings in the parish during the "Maldifest"...which we could only enjoy the last two days,...after which God's adventure continued in the following 6 days in our OASIS. Through a creative program: Amusements at the river, water battles, targeted catechesis, intense confessions in God's Mercy, silent adoration even at night, Holy Masses in our wonderful chapel, homemade breakfasts, lunches and dinners (thanks to the very generous Community " Jesus, I trust in you") and almost an endless prayer song of PRAISE ... which was perhaps the secret why the boys were overjoyed and grateful in the end!
