Our Spirituality
Spirituality of Peace
Ours is, first and foremost, a spirituality of peace: peace in ourselves, peace around us. This stems from our being conformed to the Son, through which we re-own that filial identity that sin has obscured, thus reopening the way to reconciliation with God, with ourselves, and with others. This is a process of pacification, one that is never fully accomplished, and which permeates choices, desires, and even becomes our language, and our openness to the other. It is a commitment to fraternal communion, and dialogue. Among the first fruits of this peace and pacification is the reconciliation of differences (men/women, states of life, cultures, etc.).
RL 51
We are a Community whose vocation is to live the ministry and vow of intercession for Peace in the world, for the spiritual renewal of the Church and the conversion and reconciliation of every person with God. Our ministry of intercession calls us to be communities that are pleasing to God as we propose to stand in the midst between God and humanity as channels for obtaining the grace necessary for the salvation and peace of the world[...]
Eucharistic Spirituality
Our spirituality is Eucharistic, and it is so in a twofold sense: because the Eucharist celebrated and adored is the heart of our day, where we are in contact with Christ as a source of peace and the very sap which energises us; and because the Eucharist wants to become our existence, broken bread, bread which has the flavour of communion and filial gratitude.
RL 51
[...] Our community life is based on the intense communion which is born of and is continually renewed in the Eucharist, celebrated and adored. This makes our houses not only living tabernacles but also a continuation of the early Jerusalem cenacle, guided by Mary, while awaiting a renewed Pentecost. Every brother and sister is called to clothe themselves with the same sentiments and virtues of Christ and of Mary, and to live out that most exquisite charity that St. Paul proposes to us: "Love one another with fraternal affection..." (cf. Rom. 12:9-18), and which makes each of our communities a true family following the example of the family of Nazareth.
Marian Spirituality
Our spirituality is Marian. Mary is the womb in which our conformation to Christ takes place.
As St Louis Grignon de Montfort says: assimilation to her is the quickest way to becoming similar to her Son. Therefore to follow her, living her attitudes of faith, humility, abandonment, and hospitality, is for us the longing of every day.
RL 128
We recognize in Mary our Mother, our Teacher, our Guide. We want to be close to Her at the foot of the Cross of Her Son, imploring Peace for the Church and Peace for humanity, as we await the new coming of the Holy Spirit.
