Funeral rites of Fr. Gianni Sgreva, 9 February 2026, Verona

With great sorrow, the Marian Community Oasis of Peace announces the passing of its founder, Fr. Gianni Sgreva, at 7:00 pm on February 5, 2026.

We entrust his soul to the heart of Mary and to the mercy of God the Father, so that He may welcome him into His Peace, the Peace in which he believed, bringing forth many sons and daughters for its cause and offering his entire life to Mary, Queen of Peace and of our Ecclesial Family.

The funeral was held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Verona Cathedral, attended by the Passionist family confreres, relatives, many brothers and sisters of the Marian Community Oasis of Peace from various houses, and all the people of God who shared part of their journey with Fr. Gianni and wished to honor him with a final farewell.
