"The love of God has been poured into our hearts" (Romans 5:5) On September 19, 20, and 21, young people from different cities of the Diocese of Quixadá and other dioceses gathered at the Sanctuary of Our Lady Immaculate Queen of the Sertão to experience an encounter with God at the 20th Youth Festival, promoted by the Marian Community Oasis of Peace.
Through this year's theme, the festival offered young people a profound experience of God's love that is poured out upon us and gives us the grace to respond "here I am" to the Lord's call to holiness in our youth.
The event offered moments of prayer and praise, youth presentations, podcasts, Holy Mass, and the moment most awaited by young people at every festival: Adoration.
They were intense days of joy, prayer, and formation, which concluded on Sunday with the celebration of Holy Mass and the sending forth of the young people.
