What steps should I take if I hear a call?
If you feel in your heart the desire to verify God's call to join our community, responding to His invitation to make your life a gift of love and peace, the steps to take are very simple! First of all, if you live near one of our houses, you can contact the nearest community and ask to have a first discernment experience: we will indicate a brother or sister who will accompany you in the first steps, helping you to listen to the voice of God, together with Mary. If, on the other hand, you live far away, calm, calm! You can contact us and we will show you how to start a process of discernment and with which stages, in presence and at a distance.
Who can belong to the Marian Community Oasis of Peace?
The Marian Community Oasis of Peace is made up of internal consecrated brothers and sisters, secular consecrated men and women, married couples. All make a specific vow to be Peace and to intercede for the Peace of the Church and of humanity, while the consecrated men and women, both internal and secular, are united with God also through the profession of the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. The consecrated brothers, some of whom are priests, and the internal consecrated sisters live together in communities, called Oasis of Peace, as we tell you here. Married couples and consecrated men and women live the same charism of Peace in their living environment. Thus, in different forms, responding to the common call of the Queen of Peace, together we wish to be an Oasis of Peace in the heart of the world.
What is your link with Medjugorje?
The first brothers and sisters of the community wished to give their lives to God, living the messages of the Queen of Peace. Mary calls, even today, her sons and daughters to join her in total self-giving to God, interceding for peace, offering total availability to His love, opening her heart, to welcome many brothers and sisters in search of peace.
